Inertia is specialized in the development of miniaturized wireless inertial measurement units (IMUs) that can sense, process and communicate motion, vibration and orientation features of interest. Inertia has three lines of products: - Motion capturing, with our new-generation waterproof and dustproof wireless Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), the ProMove-V. Using Inertia’s high-speed and low-power wireless technology, a network of tens of ProMove-V’s can sample and stream all sensor data at high data rates with precise synchronization across all devices. https://inertia-technology.com/product/motion-capture-promove-v/ - The Equine Gait Analysis, with the Equi-Pro product®. Equi-Pro® comes to support equine veterinarians and researchers in evaluating lameness and gait performance in an objective way. https://inertia-technology.com/product/equi-pro/ - The Vibration Monitoring, with the NexoDAQ wireless data acquisition platform. NexoDAQ interfaces with various analogue and digital sensors, from MEMS to IEPE accelerometers or generic voltage sensors. https://inertia-technology.com/product/vibration-monitoring-vmon-4000/ The Inertia wireless protocol is the fastest and best synchronized wireless low-power interface of IMUs on the market. The collision-free MAC protocol is centrally controlled by the Inertia Gateway. Up to 39 ProMove-V sensor nodes sampling on 14 channels (3D acceleration, 3D high-g acceleration, 3D gyroscope, 3D compass, barometer and temperature) up to 200 Hz per channel send their data in a real-time, synchronized manner to the Inertia Gateway for visualization, logging and post-processing. Synchronization is a key factor for achieving simultaneous sampling of different measurement points in a wireless network. Our network-wide synchronization has a groundbreaking accuracy of less than 100 ns. That means that all sensor nodes sample at the same time instance across the network.
