The Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) is dedicated to ensuring a strong, viable American oil and natural gas industry. The organization recognizes that an adequate and secure supply of American energy is essential to the U.S. economy and national security.

For over 90 years, IPAA has served as the national voice of America's independent oil and natural gas producers. It is the leading, national upstream trade association representing thousands of oil and natural gas producers that account for 83 percent of America's oil production, 90 percent of its natural gas production, and supports over 4.5 million jobs in America.

The association's dedication to the vitality of the American oil and natural gas industry makes it an impactful player in the Government and Military as well as the Oil and Gas industries.
