The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) has been a driving force behind immigrant legal support and advocacy since its establishment in 1979. Operating from its headquarters in San Francisco, with additional offices in California’s Central Valley, San Antonio & Austin, Texas, and Washington DC, ILRC has been dedicated to utilizing policy advocacy, capacity building, and civic engagement to assist immigrant families in staying together and thriving. The organization's commitment to the immigrant cause is evident through its provision of immigration legal trainings, technical assistance, and legal educational materials, coupled with advocacy, civic participation, outreach, and education efforts to advance immigrant rights. Founded by Professor Bill Ong Hing, ILRC addresses the unmet need for legal services for immigrant clients and provides crucial legal advice to community-based and legal services organizations.
