Homeport

Homeport is a non-profit organization based in the United States, established in 1987, with a mission to provide affordable housing and build strong communities. With a portfolio of 3,085 affordable rental apartments and homes in 47 communities, Homeport serves over 6,529 residents, offering a wide range of services from after-school programs to emergency assistance for rent and utilities. The organization also provides access to essential resources such as food, furniture, and employment assistance, as well as medical and mental health services. Homeport is dedicated to bridging the housing gap for low-to-moderate income individuals and families, with a focus on those making 60 percent or less of the area median income, addressing a critical need in Franklin County, Ohio. As the leading non-profit developer of affordable housing in Central Ohio, Homeport also offers homebuyer education and budget and credit counseling.
