HNG Capital is a family-owned investment holdings company with a rich history dating back to 1976. It was incorporated in 2011 to undertake the privatization of Leader Universal holdings Berhad (“Leader Group), founded by Tan Sri Dato Seri H’ng Bok San. The successful completion of the privatization exercise in May 2012 marked a pivotal moment for the company. Since then, HNG Capital has undergone significant corporate exercises, strategically repositioning its investments to focus on future growth prospects.

The company now focuses on four core businesses: Power, Metal, Property, and Hospitality, with total group revenue and group assets of nearly RM3 billion each respectively. This strategic shift reflects their ambition to capitalize on emerging opportunities within these industries.
