The company's flagship product, the Himalayan Dog Chew, is made using traditional methods with Yak and Cow Milk, and free from chemicals or preservatives. Founded in 2007 by Suman and Nishes, the inspiration for the product came from the discovery that a popular mountain treat was loved by their dogs. The company conducted extensive research for four years before launching its first product in 2007. Starting as a small operation in Bellingham, Washington, the production later moved to Seattle under Sujan K Shrestha’s leadership in January 2008.
