Higher Heights for America

Higher Heights for America is a national organization dedicated to empowering Black women politically. The organization aims to harness the power of Black women to elect Black women, influence elections, and advance progressive policies. Founded in 2011, Higher Heights consists of Higher Heights for America, a 501(c)(4), and its sister organization Higher Heights Leadership Fund, a national 501(c)(3), both committed to building the political power and leadership of Black women from the voting booth to elected office. The organization focuses on investing in the next generation of political leaders and organizing and mobilizing the power of Black women voters through its #BlackWomenVote campaign. It also creates an environment for Black women to run, win, and lead by offering online training, research, cultural-shifting communications work, and digital campaigns. With a vision of expanding Black women's elected leadership in 2018, 2020, and beyond, Higher Heights for America envisions a political landscape where Black women are adequately represented in elected positions. The organization invites support to further its mission and continue making strides in its efforts to empower Black women politically.
