Heimo Community was founded in 2014 and aimed to address mental health issues by providing an online platform for a supportive community. Despite its noble mission, the startup had to close due to resource constraints. Nevertheless, there is a commitment to carry on Heimo's legacy in aiding others, potentially by offering the community software under Creative Commons terms.
