Harlem Business Alliance

Harlem Business Alliance is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1980 with a vision to advocate for the preservation and retention of Harlem's business community. The organization's slogan "We believe local businesses create better communities & we inspire Black entrepreneurs to grow locally & globally" reflects its commitment to supporting minority-owned businesses. The Harlem Business Alliance, Inc. (HBA) has been instrumental in establishing Harlem as an economically self-sustaining community through cohesive public/private partnerships. The organization's diverse membership includes influential minority-owned businesses in the New York City Metropolitan area, as well as major institutions and corporations operating in and around the Harlem community.

With a 501(c)(3) status, HBA has worked tirelessly over the years to impact the quality of life in the Harlem community and make its voice a valuable part of the decision-making process at local, state, and federal levels. Collaborative efforts with local and out-of-state organizations are regular occurrences, showcasing the organization's commitment to creating a sustainable and vibrant business environment.
