Hammarby Fotboll AB

Hammarby Fotboll AB is responsible for the elite activities within Hammarby IF FF, including the A-team, U21 team, and U19 team. In late 2011, a new share issue took place, resulting in Hammarby IF Fotbollförening owning 50.4% of the votes and 29.6% of the capital in Hammarby Fotboll AB. The remaining capital/votes are owned by Anschutz Entertainment Group Sweden AB and five other investors. Hammarby IF was established in 1897, with football operations commencing in 1915. The A-team currently competes in the Svenska Superettan and holds one league title, which was achieved in 2001.
