Modern conversational AI represents a growing intersection of AI, linguistics, and psychology, aiming to create more natural and effective AI-driven conversations. Recognising that technology-first companies were failing to create psychologically-sound conversations, Gyral looked further ahead and focused on the creation of the world's first Large Psychology Model. The Gyral Psychology Model is a foundational technology based on Nobel Prize-winning neuroscience and recognised psychology and linguistics theories. The Model offers an innovative perspective to language analysis and optimisation, crafting unique approaches to human-computer interaction. This core technology enables the development of technologies based on mapping human awareness and understanding. In effect, the Gyral Psychology Model can underpin, power, and enrich every human-computer interaction on the planet. The initial proof of the Model's capability is the AI Psychotherapist, Blethr version 2, that holds user-centred conversations with people wishing to address anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, and anger. Blethr is in production and is already deployed on its first client sites, holding an increasing number of anonymised conversations per week. Blethr 3 is due for release in January 2025 - a virtual companion integrated with both journal and therapist as well as analytics and insights. Already deep in production, the Enterprise Edition is focused more on corporate psychological health and includes interpersonal and intrapersonal psychologies as well as mental health support - identified use cases include behavioural analysis, supporting strategic planning, enriching executive decision making, stakeholder management and communications.
