Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. was established in 2000, it is authorized by Guangzhou municipal government to operate state-owned assets. Benefited from the strong support of governments at all levels and sustainable and fast development of Chinese automotive industry as well as all of our staff’s hard work , GAIG has been greatly improved in production scale, integrated strength and core competitiveness. In 2010, Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group achieved production and sales volume of 720,000 vehicles and 920,000 motorcycles with a sales income of 160.3 billion Yuan and a profit and tax of 33.3 billion Yuan. Thus, GAIG has become the 4th large-scale enterprise group in China that has exceeded 100 billion RMB both in gross industrial output value and sales income simply after “FAW”, “Dongfeng” and “SAIC”. In 2010, GAIG ranked 44th in “China Top 500 Enterprises”.
