Grillo, founded in 2014 in Mexico, aims to enhance earthquake resilience for individuals and businesses. The company offers a range of solutions including early earthquake warnings, IoT seismic networks, catastrophe data, and building monitoring. Grillo's open-source initiative, OpenEEW, developed in collaboration with the Linux Foundation and IBM, has successfully brought together a community with the objective of establishing a global earthquake early-warning network. With the recent Pre Seed Round investment of $40.00K on 04 May 2018 from Start-Up Chile, Grillo is poised to further its mission of saving lives, advancing research, and reducing exposure to seismic risk.
