Greater Reading Chamber Alliance

The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) is an innovative partnership formed through the strategic alignment of three existing business organizations in Berks County: the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Greater Reading Economic Partnership, and the Greater Berks Development Fund. This collaboration brings together a 1,200-member Chamber of Commerce and Berks County's two leading economic development organizations to provide comprehensive support to the business community. The GRCA's primary mission is to encourage business attraction, business expansion, job creation, and business investment in order to foster a thriving economy throughout Berks County. The alliance aims to act as the single point of contact for companies looking to locate or expand in the region, offering a more comprehensive set of supports and services. In addition, the GRCA engages in advocacy efforts to promote policies that create a more business-friendly environment in the area. Established in 1913, the GRCA's mission is to be Berks County’s leading resource for building a healthy, competitive business community. Its vision is to assist companies in retaining, expanding, and growing their operations and employment, while attracting new business to Berks County. Overall, the GRCA plays a pivotal role in fostering economic growth and development in Berks County, leveraging the strengths of its member organizations to create a more robust business ecosystem in the region.
