As a nonprofit partner of the U.S. Department of State, it has sustained a network that coordinates international exchange programs for 60 years, bringing leaders from various countries to communities throughout the United States. They provide their members, ranging from large national organizations to small community-based ones across 50 states and 40 countries, with connections, leadership development, and professional resources to enhance their effectiveness.

The international exchanges benefit both the participating leaders and the host communities by fostering greater knowledge, understanding, and relationships, ultimately leading to stronger local communities and a more peaceful, prosperous world.
