Glanway is Ireland's leading Residual MSW Material Recycling Facility & Alternative Fuel Export Hub. Founded in 2014, Glanway has rapidly grown, currently processing circa 7% of Ireland's residual MSW. The company's focus lies in the circular economy, extracting value from discarded waste. Glanway diverts household residual waste in the South East Region of Ireland to its Material Recycling Facility in Belview Port, Waterford, where recyclables are extracted, organic fraction is used for composting, and the rest is turned into sustainable alternative fuels. Their 231,500 tonne per year export facility is strategically located 150m from the Bulk and Container Terminals in Belview Port, allowing for efficient loading of container and bulk vessels while minimizing emissions and maximizing fuel quality. In 2018, Glanway secured a Venture Round investment from FOCUS Capital Partners, helping to realize its ambitious plans for continued growth and the development of an exciting Circular Economy Hub for processing, recycling, and recovering MSW and other waste materials.
