GEI is a financial startup founded in 2010 in France. The company's slogan, "Fonds d'entrepreneurs dédié aux ETI et PME du grand quart Nord-Est," reflects its dedication to supporting medium-sized and small enterprises in the northeastern region. With a unique approach to investment, GEI brings together entrepreneur-investors from the Grand Quart Nord Est to facilitate the development and transfer of high-potential SMEs within a significant European economic zone.
Combining the intervention capabilities of a national fund with the proximity of a regional fund, GEI serves as the "missing link" in SME financing. Managed by Poincaré Gestion, an AMF-approved company, the Fund invests amounts ranging from €2 to €7 million to support the emergence of ETIs in the Grand Quart Nord Est. As of 2012, GEI reached its final closing of €55 million and has already made several investments. More details about the supported companies can be found on their website (www.fonds-gei.com).
GEI operates across 7 regions - Alsace, Bourgogne, Champagne-Ardenne, Franche Comté, Lorraine, Nord-Pas de Calais, and Picardie, attracting primarily business leaders and families from the Grand Quart Nord-Est who are driven to invest collectively in successful enterprises and contribute to the rise of ETIs.
