G3 Global Berhad is a Malaysian company that was originally established in 1992 as Yen Global Berhad. It gained recognition in the market with its jeanswear brand GA Blue and was listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia in 2004 as GA Blue International Bhd, subsequently moving to the Main Board in 2005. The company focuses on creating and marketing high-quality branded apparel products targeted at brand-conscious consumers, distributing them through a network of over 300 strategically located retail outlets across the country. Having expanded its product range over the years to include brands like Mustang, Edwin, Wrangler, Underground Products, and Once Upon A Time, GA Blue was awarded the Malaysian Superbrands status in 2003. In 2016, Green Packet Berhad acquired a stake in G3 Global, enabling the company to venture into the ICT business through the acquisition of Atilze Digital Sdn Bhd and Atilze AI Sdn Bhd. The new focus on Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and Artificial Intelligence (AI) allows G3 Global to offer connected devices, cloud-based data-driven applications, and services for various sectors such as Connected Vehicles, Public Safety Surveillance, Face Recognition Access Control, Smart Homes, Smart Building, Intelligent City, and Smart Agriculture using Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) technologies, particularly LoRa. As a nod to its diversification and ambition to become a global player, the company was renamed G3 Global Berhad in March 2017. With its strong presence in the consumer goods industry and its recent foray into technology, G3 Global Berhad exhibits a forward-looking approach to adapt to evolving market trends and expand its influence globally.
