Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries (FVRL) is the fifth-largest library district in the state of Washington, serving 4,200 square miles in the southwest corner of the state. Established in 1950 as the first inter-county rural library district in the state, FVRL provides library services through 15 locations and two bookmobiles, offering a wide range of resources including a floating collection of over 750,000 books, magazines, DVDs, and audiobooks, downloadable eBooks and audiobooks, computers and Wi-Fi for public use, and extensive electronic resources. The district also offers services such as books by mail for rural and homebound patrons and instant online access for new cardholders.
FVRL encompasses all of Clark County, Skamania and Klickitat Counties, and the city of Woodland in Cowlitz County. Additionally, it provides library services in contract with the independent, rural Yale Valley Library District in Cowlitz County. The district operates within the EdTech, Education, and IT industries.
