The privately funded FollowThatPatient was founded as a Delaware C Corp in April 2012 by Dr. Darshan Shah, a highly successful, Malibu-based plastic surgeon and Praveen Shah, a Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur and veteran management consultant. After a successful six-month beta at multiple plastic surgery locations in California, FollowThatPatient launched nationwide at the October 2012 ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons) Plastic Surgery tradeshow in New Orleans.
