Flytrex is a pioneering startup that has been delivering food with drones since 2017. The company aims to revolutionize the delivery service industry by utilizing drone technology to significantly reduce delivery costs and times, operating in a vast market. Established in Israel in 2013, the company made a significant breakthrough in August 2017 by launching the world’s first fully operational, regulatory-approved, on-demand drone delivery service in Reykjavik, Iceland. The company's system has been approved by ICETRA, Iceland’s Civil Aviation Authority, and is insured, setting the precedent by being granted approval to operate BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) and above populated regions in a first-world country.

Flytrex showcased its potential on a global scale by being selected to participate in the FAA’S Drone Pilot Program and partnering with North Carolina’s Department of Transportation, with the ambitious goal of establishing the first drone-based delivery service in the United States. The company's drones can carry packages of up to 6.5lbs and travel a distance of approximately 6 aerial miles, making them suitable for the majority of packages that require transit across cities. By minimizing manual handling, the drones reduce manpower and ensure quick deliveries every time in the Drones, Logistics, and Robotics industries.

Flytrex's recent achievement includes securing a $40.00M Series C investment on November 19, 2021. The investment was made by prominent firms such as BRM Group, OurCrowd, Benhamou Global Ventures, Skywell Capital Partners, b2venture, Tal Ventures, BackBone Ventures, and Lukasz Gadowski, signifying the confidence of the investor community in Flytrex's potential.
