Florida Heart Research Foundation - Company Profile

The Florida Heart Research Foundation has been an international leader in cardiovascular research and education since 1944. We are an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to stop heart disease through research, education and prevention. Florida Heart Research Foundation's novel approach to collaborative research on the national level serves as a critical impetus to the introduction and development of innovative research efforts. Our outreach expanded statewide through the 2003 legislative enactment of the Stop Heart Disease license plate. We continue to be recognized as a leading cardiovascular resource for the local community. Our free community services include our onsite and offsite cardiovascular screening programs for the underserved and uninsured that identify those at risk for heart disease before they suffer a life threatening event.
