Similar to Tripadvisor, it provides a marketplace for local fishing guides to list their activities, offering anglers access to a wide range of fishing spots and experiences at nature preserves, private lodges, and fisheries worldwide. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Belgium, Fishtripr received a €500.00K Seed Round investment on 11 February 2019 from investors including Kima Ventures, Digital Attraxion, Olivier Coune, and LeanSquare. The platform sets itself apart from competitors such as TripAdvisor and Booking by focusing exclusively on fishing and promoting outdoor experiences, with the mission of making the outdoors accessible to everyone, from fishing enthusiasts to families, couples, and friends.
