Finance Fund is a mission-driven real estate developer and community development financial intermediary based in Columbus, Ohio. Since its establishment in 1987, the company has channeled more than $411.7 million into various projects across underserved communities in Ohio, spanning economic development, community facilities, manufacturing and industrial facilities, healthy food retail and distribution, and affordable housing. This impressive investment has leveraged over $1.7 billion of additional investment. With a strong commitment to community impact, Finance Fund has awarded 2,985 grants to community development corporations and other community-based organizations. Additionally, the company has provided 81 loans and equity equivalent products to for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations. Notably, their investments have led to the creation and/or retention of 19,457 permanent jobs, 11,577 construction jobs, and the construction and development of significant square footage in various sectors. In addition to its core activities, Finance Fund's subsidiary, FCAP, has provided flexible financing totaling $47.5 million to 88 borrowers, leveraging $138.4 million of additional investments. These endeavors have resulted in the creation and/or retention of 4,125 direct jobs, the development of 314 housing units, 993,128 square feet of commercial space, and serving 388,278 people.
