FICCI Research and Analysis Centre (FRAC) is a reputable international laboratory, established in 1989 under the competent aegis of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). It is an autonomous body registered under the Indian Society Act XXI of 1860 and supported by Ministry of Food Processing Industry, Government of India. Accredited by NABL and approved by BIS, FRAC holds certificates of OHSAS 18001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and is empanelled with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
Appointed as a Training Partner for FoSTaC by FSSAI, FRAC aims to provide comprehensive services related to product quality. Governed by a Governing Council (GC) and advised by a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), it caters to the analytical needs of various entities, including government agencies, MNCs, academic institutions, and consumers.
Additionally, FRAC has three associated regional laboratories, namely Regional Food Research & Analysis Centers (RFRAC) located in Lucknow, Bangalore, and Pune.
FRAC was established to provide reliable and accurate analysis services to the food processing industries in India, committed to delivering consistently high-quality analysis to ensure total customer satisfaction and statutory compliance.
