Family Proud aims to simplify the creation of circles of care around loved ones, providing support for individuals with new diagnoses, long-distance family members, and community causes. The platform, as a private and secure social network, fosters coordination, support, and community-building without compromising user privacy for advertising purposes.

The startup stands out as the first online platform intentionally designed to amplify the natural instinct to care, capturing engagement data to identify barriers and unlock new opportunities for improved service delivery, engagement, and growth within growing communities. It differentiates itself through its focus on service, the science of care, and the power of behavior design to influence action.

Care circle use cases span from small to medium nonprofits needing to increase engagement, families managing acute medical diagnoses, sustained family member care and support, to serving active or deployed military service members and their families, church and community organizations, and community-centered schools.

Key features of the Family Proud app include Care Circles for inviting support networks, Circle Asks for coordinating support, Care Map to extend support networks, Newsfeed for sharing updates, and the ability to find and share resources with the community. The startup is recognized as a Nex³ Digital Health Accelerator Portfolio Company, a graduate of Y-Combo Startup School, and a Service-Disabled Veteran and Minority-Owned Small Business.

Founded in 2018 and headquartered in the United States, Family Proud recently received a $100.00K grant investment on 11 July 2022 from Google for Startups.
