EVUM Motors GmbH is a Germany-based startup that has garnered significant attention with its compact all-electric commercial vehicle, the aCar. Founded in 2017, the company has emerged as a spin-off of a forward-thinking research project at the Technical University of Munich. Led by Martin Šoltés and Sascha Koberstaedt, the industrialisation of the aCar is now the focal point of a dedicated team, driven by the mission to turn their vision into reality.

The aCar boasts a noiseless and emission-free design, making it ideal for natural habitats, while its all-wheel drive capabilities make it a versatile off-road vehicle. With dimensions of 1.5 m wide and 1.99 m high, it also serves as an efficient commercial vehicle with a payload capacity of 1,000 kg. Notably, it doubles as a power source with an external socket providing up to 3 kW continuous power to operate electrical devices.

EVUM Motors secured a noteworthy €20.00M Series B investment on 19 December 2023, with backing from Bayern Kapital and Jolt Capital. Through this investment, the company is poised to further advance its manufacturing capabilities and strengthen its position in the automotive industry.
