Evaluation Community of India - Company Profile

Evaluation Community of India (ECOI) was established in 2015 with a mission to promote knowledge sharing in monitoring and evaluation for high-quality and credible assessments. The organization seeks to strengthen evaluation practices, promote equity-focused and gender-responsive evaluations, and foster community participation. Hosted by the Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST), ECOI is managed by a volunteer-based 'Core Group' comprising professionals from esteemed organizations such as Centre for Media Studies, Oxfam International, and UN Women. ECOI aims to promote demand for evaluations amongst all stakeholders and develop evaluation capacities among members and emerging evaluators. The community envisions contributing to evidence-based policies focusing on social equity, gender equality, and sustainability across India and globally.
