The company is jointly owned by ARIANEGROUP (France/Germany) and AVIO (Italy). Europropulsion is a prime contractor and design authority for solid rocket motors of Ariane 5, the P80 as the first stage of Vega, and the P120C, the future common solid rocket motor for Ariane 6 and Vega C. The company is headquartered in Suresnes (Paris), with a facility at the Centre Spatial Guyanais in Kourou where the solid rocket motors are integrated.
