Founded in 1922, ECI comprises three nonprofit organizations: the Ethics Research Center, the Ethics & Compliance Association, and the Ethics & Compliance Certification Institute. With a membership representing over 450 organizations across various industries, ECI offers top-notch ethics and compliance research, best practices, networking opportunities, and certification.

As the research arm of ECI, the Ethics Research Center (ERC) is the oldest non-profit organization in America dedicated to independent research aimed at advancing high ethical standards and practices in public and private institutions. Renowned as the industry's leading research group, ERC analyzes current and emerging issues to generate innovative ideas and benchmarks.

The membership community of ECI, namely the Ethics & Compliance Association (ECA), serves as a platform for learning, idea exchange, and sharing best practices in ethics and compliance programs.
