Founded in 1994, EFC focuses on providing working capital solutions for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The company is passionate about wealth creation in the private sector and aims to increase access to specialized financial services in Zambia.
EFC's vision and mission statements are inspiring, aiming to become the preferred financial institution for around 10,000 MSMEs by 2020. The company plans to double its balance sheet in the next three years and explore new markets and segments, particularly targeting the "Missing Middle segment."
