EnergyVille

EnergyVille is a leading research institution focused on sustainable energy and intelligent energy systems. Founded in 2010, it is a collaboration between the Flemish research institutes KU Leuven, VITO, and imec, delivering expertise to industry and cities on energy efficient buildings and intelligent networks. The institute aims to rank among the top five European institutes in innovative energy research and is deeply embedded in national and international networks. Situated in the Thor science park in Genk, EnergyVille is supported by the city of Genk, the Flemish Government, LRM, POM Limburg, and the European structural funds, and aspires to serve as a hub for research, business development, and job creation in the energy sector. With its focus on energy, renewable energy, and sustainability, EnergyVille offers potential for significant impact and growth within the industry.
