Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA​)

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA​) is the world's largest producer of 'premium aluminium' and the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside of the oil and gas sector. The company owns and operates aluminium smelters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as an alumina refinery in Abu Dhabi, and a bauxite mine with associated export facilities in the Republic of Guinea.

EGA's aluminium is utilized in a multitude of ways, from smartphones and building materials to food packaging and car parts, contributing to making modern life possible. Notably, their aluminium is one of the UAE's main exports after oil and gas, significantly adding to the country's export revenue and economic diversification.

Since its establishment in 1979, EGA has been a major player in the aluminium industry, producing approximately 4% of the world's aluminium and nearly half of the aluminium manufactured in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
