EMEC Ecology (East Midlands Environmental Consultancy) is a specialist ecological consultancy undertaking protected species surveys (bats, great crested newts, reptiles, water voles, otters etc) and ecological assessments, with regards to proposed development sites, planning applications and sites proposed for ecological enhancement. EMEC Ecology also conducts training in ecological techniques and requirements, and recently established a groundworks team to carry out on site works, including newt and reptile fencing and general habitat creation. Based in Nottingham, EMEC Ecology is located within the heart of the East Midlands and is capable of undertaking projects nationwide. EMEC Ecology employs a team of highly skilled ecologists who have a wide practical experience and a strong client-focused approach.
