Editorial EDEBE

Editorial EDEBE is a publishing house founded in 1888 by the Salesian Congregation with a vision to cater to the educational community. It offers a wide range of publications for various educational stages, from early childhood education to high school and vocational training. In addition, EDEBE supports the work of teachers and educators.

In the 1990s, the company strengthened its publishing activities with a significant literary project, producing an extensive collection of readings for all age groups. EDEBE also hosts the Edebé Prize for Children's and Young People's Literature, renowned for its esteemed list of writers and works. Moreover, EDEBE expanded its reach internationally in the mid-1990s, establishing publishing houses in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico to extend its presence in Latin America. In recent years, the company's international footprint has further grown with its International Department, enabling publication of EDEBE's works in over 25 languages through the Foreign Rights Department.
