Eataly offers the ultimate Italian culinary experience, featuring a range of restaurants, boutique food stalls, and artisanal market selections. Since its establishment in 2004 by Oscar Farinetti, a former consumer electronics entrepreneur, the premium Italian food market and mall chain has garnered significant attention and investment. The company's extensive product range includes packaged foods, cured meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and beverages. In 2012, Eataly expanded its presence with the launch of its largest megastore in Rome, repurposing an abandoned air terminal building near Ostiense Station. Additionally, it has a location in the Porto Antico area of Genova.
Eataly's last investment was a Venture Round on 13 April 2013, with 360 Capital joining as investors. The company operates within the Food and Beverage and Retail industries, emphasizing high-quality Italian culinary offerings and experiential dining.
