Earshot Jazz

Earshot Jazz is a non-profit arts and service organization established in 1984 with a mission to support and increase awareness of jazz in the community. The organization's activities range from publishing a monthly newsletter featuring reviews, previews, and profiles on Northwest-based artists, to presenting around 100 concerts annually, including the Earshot Jazz Festival and the "Art of Jazz" series at the Seattle Art Museum. It also focuses on jazz education, reaching over 43,000 students through school assembly programs and providing scholarships, residencies, panels, and workshops in jazz.

Over the years, Earshot Jazz has earned recognition for its consistent programming quality and community services, garnering a strong reputation in the international jazz community. The organization continues to engage in leadership and special projects, such as commissioning new works, producing the annual Northwest Jazz Awards program, and providing grant assistance to artists.
