Dignity for Children Foundation

Dignity for Children Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to nurture and empower world changers through transformative education. Founded in 1998 in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, the foundation focuses on breaking the cycle of poverty among underprivileged urban children through quality education, positively transforming their lives and the community around them. Dignity for Children Foundation has evolved from a small learning center with 20 students to one of the largest comprehensive learning centers for poor and vulnerable children aged 2-19. The organization provides quality education and care, following the Montessori method of teaching and offering the Cambridge syllabus and IGCSE program at its secure environment from pre-school to secondary levels. In addition to academic components, Dignity for Children Foundation also emphasizes employability skills through its Transformational Enterprise program, ensuring that underprivileged children gain the knowledge and skills necessary to positively change their lives. Most recently, the foundation secured a $100.00K grant investment on 29 March 2023 from the Aspen-HP Digital Equity Accelerator. Dignity's commitment to providing high-quality education and a supportive environment for children from underprivileged backgrounds demonstrates its potential for significant social impact and sustainable growth within the education and enterprise sectors.
