Delta Regional Authority

Delta Regional Authority (DRA) was established in 2000 with a mission to promote economic development in the lower Mississippi River and Alabama Black Belt regions. The organization focuses on investing in projects supporting transportation infrastructure, basic public infrastructure, workforce training, and business development to create jobs and improve the lives of residents. DRA's region covers 252 counties and parishes in parts of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee. The DRA's enabling legislation mandates that at least 75% of its funds must be invested in economically distressed areas. Additionally, half of the funds are allocated to support transportation and basic public infrastructure. As of now, there is no record of the last investment and investors. DRA operates in the Government and Military, Health Care, and Platforms industries, focusing on supporting job creation and community building.
