The U.S. military and Loral/Siemens chose DeJarnette's ImageShare 910 as their preferred modality interface for MDIS deployment. DeJarnette's AN/API (ACR-NEMA Application Programmers Interface) was the first medical imaging software toolkit to support DICOM.
