DAUMET is a French materials science startup with a mission to preserve life by saving precious metals. Established in 2016, the company addresses the increasing rarity, expense, and demand for precious metals, highlighting the harmful effects of their mining on living organisms. Through pioneering greentech, DAUMET is developing innovative materials and processes to conserve precious metals, with a focus on enabling new applications for gold. Notably, DAUMET has developed the world's whitest gold, allowing for novel applications including 18-carat white gold-coated jewelry. The company has also successfully created gold alloys with unprecedented properties, with plans to expand its technology into diverse sectors such as medtech, chemistry, electronics, and space. In late November 2023, DAUMET secured a €1.20M Seed Round investment from notable investors including Olivier Vaury, CNRS Innovation, Benoit Georges, Karl Durocher, Théo Deschamps Peugeot, Fabrice Lépine, Jérôme Bellin, and Finhalfa. Looking ahead, the company aims to become a leading global provider of gold solutions by 2030, striving for a more efficient use of precious metals to contribute to a sustainable world for future generations.
