CoPower is Canada's first sustainable investment platform and a subsidiary of Vancity Community Investment Bank. Established in 2013, the platform is dedicated to enabling ordinary people to invest in clean energy, funding climate-friendly infrastructure projects at scale while making a profit. Through CoPower Green Bonds, investors can support small-to-midsize clean energy projects such as solar rooftops, geothermal heating, energy efficiency retrofits, reducing carbon pollution, and generating revenue from clean energy. The platform offers an accessible minimum investment, allowing users to invest in a diversified portfolio of project loans. The last recorded investment of $2.00M was received in a Venture Round at 31 July 2017, with participation from Fondaction, Royal Bank of Canada, Ferst Capital Partners - FCP, Laurie Thomson, and Innovation Support.
