Continental Multimodal Terminals Limited (CMTL) is a joint venture company of Continental Warehousing Corporation Limited (CWCL) and KRIBHCO Rail Infrastructure Limited (KRIL). CMTL has developed a Multi-Modal Logistics Interface Park (LIP) at Thimmapur, near Hyderabad in Telangana State, which includes a railway siding and over 250,000 sqft of warehousing to cater to the needs of both domestic and EXIM trade. The company operates in the logistics, supply chain, and transportation industries. CWCL, which belongs to the NDR group, has the largest network in India's private sector, with 6.5 million sqft of storage area in 70 strategic locations across the country. The NDR group provides end-to-end logistics solutions, including freight forwarding, air cargo, C&F, transportation and distribution, dry and cold storage, container freight stations, and operation of jetties and coastal movement of cargo. On the other hand, KRIL, a subsidiary of KRIBHCO, is a rail-based logistics operator offering reliable and timely logistics services at an affordable cost. KRIL has developed a terminal at Hazira (Surat) and is in the process of developing additional terminals at Rewari, Hindaun City, Shahjehanpur, Mumbai, Panipat, and Modi Nagar. CMTL's approach to multi-modal logistics and warehousing, as well as its strategic location near National Highway 7, positions the company to meet the growing trade demands and overcome traffic restrictions.
