Community Health Services provides quality medical, dental, and behavioral health care throughout Northwest Ohio. It is a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers that operate in six counties in northwest Ohio, including Henry, Hancock, Allen, Huron, Wood, and Sandusky. CHS offers a broad spectrum of care in specialties such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Behavioral Health, and Dentistry. Founded in 1970, CHS has garnered a reputation as a leader in providing healthcare in the region. It has a proven track record of meeting or exceeding industry standards and is dedicated to meeting the needs of typically rural and under-served communities, with income not being a barrier to care. By accepting Medicaid, all Medicaid managed care plans, Medicare, and most insurance companies, CHS ensures that its services are accessible to all. Additionally, the organization offers a sliding fee schedule for qualifying patients based on income and family size.
