Common Mission Project

Common Mission Project is a non-profit organization founded in 2019, dedicated to fostering Mission-Driven Entrepreneurship to address pressing national security and social challenges. The organization's flagship program, Hacking4Defense (H4D), conducted in collaboration with the National Security Innovation Network, BMNT, and CMP, is taught at around 30 universities in the United States. It applies Silicon Valley innovation methods, such as Lean Start-up, to develop innovative solutions to national security issues. Additionally, the Common Mission Project leads initiatives like Hacking4Local, Hacking4Diplomacy, and Hacking4Oceans, and extends its programs to the United Kingdom.

Common Mission Project operates as a non-profit arm of BMNT, Inc., providing a platform for Mission-Driven Entrepreneurs from government, academic, and private sectors to collaborate in solving real-world problems with the agility of startups. The mission is to bridge the gap between sectors and address challenges with both a mission-focused and entrepreneurial approach to ensure they are resolved efficiently.
