Commerce One is a company specializing in e-commerce and supplier relationship management solutions. Originally established as DistriVision in 1997, the company rebranded to Commerce One in the same year. After its IPO in 1999, Commerce One experienced substantial growth, but faced significant challenges following the dot-com crash in 2000. This ultimately led to the company filing for bankruptcy protection in 2004. However, in 2006, it was acquired by Perfect Commerce.
Although facing challenges, Commerce One received a $10.00M post-IPO equity investment on 11 July 2003, with the investment coming from BayStar Capital. The company operates mainly within the e-commerce and retail industries.
