Cocamar Cooperativa Agrindustrial is an agricultural cooperative that was founded in 27th of March 1963 under the name Cooperativa de Cafeicultores de Maringá Ltda. Initially, it brought together a group of 46 founders, all coffee producers, with the aim of organizing regional production, receiving, and benefiting the product. Over time, the cooperative diversified its business, grew, and today stands among the largest cooperative organizations in the country, owning the largest and most diversified industrial park in Brazilian cooperativism. Cocamar operates through 100 units in municipalities in the north and northwest of Paraná, west of São Paulo, and southwest of Mato Grosso do Sul, with approximately 14,000 cooperators engaged in the production of soybeans, corn, wheat, coffee, and oranges.
