Coalition PLUS

Coalition PLUS is an international network of community-based organizations fighting against HIV/AIDS. Since its establishment in 2008, the organization has been active in nearly 40 countries, collaborating with around a hundred civil society organizations. With a principle of shared governance, the union involves 14 member organizations from both the North and the South in strategic decision-making. Embracing a community-based approach, Coalition PLUS advocates for the systematic involvement of individuals infected, affected, or particularly vulnerable to HIV and HCV in decision-making, implementation, and evaluation of health programs. Through various programs and 6 sub-regional platforms, the organization aims to enhance the capacities of community-based associations while creating spaces for sharing knowledge and expertise. Committed to excellence in management and the fundamental principle of democratic governance, Coalition PLUS is accredited as a "Don en Confiance" organization by the Comité de la Charte.
