CNet Group is a leading-edge software house specializing in research and innovation for Internet of Things (IoT). The company has a strong track record in collaborative international R&D projects and commercializes the results through spin-off companies that market products and services based on their IoT technologies. These spin-off companies include Checkwatt offering EnergyInBalance, IoTBridge providing a complete IoT platform for monitoring and maintenance of critical infrastructures, and CheckHealth offering RheumaCloud for self-management of rheumatic patients. Currently, CNet is focused on innovation projects in the areas of Smart Cities and Infrastructure Monitoring, Smart Agriculture and Food Production, and Smart Manufacturing. The technologies being researched by CNet span from Mobile IoT Gateways for environmental sensing to Blockchain in supply chain management. CNet emerged as a spin-off company from Swedish IT research and was initially founded by a research group from SISU, Swedish Institute for Systems Development in 1998.
