ClosetShare is a Sustainable Fashion Platform where women can rent, share, and resell fashion items. Founded in 2016 in Korea South, the company aims to combat the rise of mass production and fast fashion by giving women the opportunity to practice ethical fashion. The platform allows users to profit from their pre-loved fashion items and give them a second life while addressing wardrobe boredom and promoting eco-friendly practices in an environment saturated by fast fashion. The company received a substantial KRW4.40B Series A investment on 20 September 2019 from Korea Development Bank, D3 Jubilee Partners, 500 Startups Korea, and SparkLabs Ventures. ClosetShare's mission is to open up closets from women all over the world and let them share experiences through one’s closet while providing a best-in-class fashion experience with a selection of quality brands and great pieces.
